<In the course of distribution of our property Toma got my Father's cutaway.>
He had no time to sell the cutaway because he immediately poured sheep down the throat and as there were no piglets among whom he usually slept off, he took a prowl round the village. In the ditch he fell in there was little water but a lot of frogspawn. Poor cutaway! Poor Toma!
<In winter of 1940 - 41, he froze to death. God bless his soul!>
